Overview

‘Democracy in Australia’ contains descriptions of Australia’s democracy and political system, characteristics of an open democratic society, and reforms needed to strengthen democracy in Australia. It includes some twenty pieces on electoral reform, a stronger parliament, a more accountable government, anti-corruption, freedom of speech, citizen engagement and human rights.
